Books Group, The Globe Pequot Press, Baen Books and Others

Mamaroneck, New York - October 15, 2007 - DailyLit (www.dailylit.com), a service that allows users to read entire books via email and RSS installments, has formally launched its Pay-Per-Read service today.

The new titles have been added after finalizing deals with Perseus Books Group, Baen Books, the University of Michigan Press, E-Reads, and The Globe Pequot Press. The list includes New York Times best-selling books and critically well-reviewed titles ranging from such genres as history, science fiction, and mystery to romance, humor, and self-help. They include Letters to a Young Contrarian by Christopher Hitchens; From Baghdad with Love by Lieutenant Colonel Jay Kopelman; Blood Diamonds by Greg Campbell; Heiress by Janet Dailey; and In Fury Born by David Weber.

The Pay-Per-Read titles will add 30+ books to DailyLit's current listing of 500+ titles. Each complete book is priced from $4.95 to $9.95, with the majority of books available for under $5.00.

"We are excited to be offering contemporary works, which many of our readers have asked for," said Susan Danziger, co-founder and publisher of DailyLit. "It's been great working with various publishers in expanding DailyLit's list, and we will be adding many more Pay-Per-Read titles in the near future. We will also continue to grow our list of free public domain classics and creative commons works."
