DailyLit Adds Gift Subscription Feature to Site
Email/RSS Book Delivery Service Allows Users to Gift Books with
Personalized Messages
Mamaroneck, New York - November 29, 2007 - DailyLit (www.dailylit.com), a service that allows users to read entire books via email and RSS installments, has added a gift giving feature to its website, just in time for the holidays.
Books that can be sent as gifts are as varied as the New York Times bestseller, Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman; The Quotable Bitch by Jessie Shiers (365 installments of inspiring -- and bitchy! -- quotes from famous women); science fiction titles such as In Fury Born by David Weber; thrillers, including Blood Diamonds by Greg Campbell; holiday classics such as Little Women by Louisa May Alcott; and Spanish language lessons made exclusively for DailyLit by Berlitz. Gift givers determine the initial gift message and can enter a personalized message (at no additional cost) that appears in each installment.
"We thought it would be a great idea to allow users to send our books as gifts, which come in individual installments daily for many months. That's a great reminder of the person who gave the gift, particularly with the personalized message sent in each installment," said Susan Danziger, co-founder and publisher of DailyLit. "We set up the feature just in time for the holidays. In fact, folks will be able to send classic books with a personalized message - all for free. That's our gift to our users!"
DailyLit recently released their Pay-Per-Read titles, which include titles from Perseus Books Group, Baen Books, the University of Michigan Press, E-Reads, The Globe Pequot Press, and Berlitz. The list includes New York Times best-selling books and award-winning titles ranging from such genres as humor, self-help, and language lessons to history, science fiction, and mystery.
