Question of the Week - Question of the Week #56: Looking Back on 2009

From DailyLit the best book read was Paranoia by Joseph Finder.

On paper, it definitely was A Song of Ice and Fire from George R.R. Martin (I know, I know... it's been out for a while now). A close second was Pandora's Star Saga by Peter F. Hamilton.

Paranoia - Totally engrossing

CAUTION: May cause addiction!
Apparently, I started my subscription just before it got restricted to USA readers, and boy am I thankful for that. This was my first Joseph Finder novel, but I must say I like his style. Well built characters with whom you can easily connect. Great plot and end twist! Also, the background of this novel, that is the corporate world, was rather new to me and I was completely immersed in it. A great book! Even if at first I didn't take more than 2-3 installments per day, I soon couldn't stop myself from just clicking the "next installment" link.
