The Lady with the Dog - easy chekhov read
Well, it was worth the time, which wasn't much, and it was interesting to a point, and had me trying to decide throughout whether I liked either character very much. I reread some of his frank perspective on their relationship and on himself and appreciated the simple honesty there.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Simple - smart
Of course, I had no idea this book existed until the furor over the movie, which I have yet to see. Smart of Dailylit to use it as a promo for their service - worked for me; I'm hooked. I read it at a quicker pace truly to see what would happen next, sensed the dread from section to section, and relished the simplicity of the clean, even antiseptic ending.
