Question of the Week - Question of the Week #55: Holiday Reading

I go for completely frivolous reading material. Comic strip collections like Dilbert and Sherman's Lagoon come out with books around Christmas and I buy them as a Christmas treat for myself. My 12 yr. old does his best to purloin them before I have a chance to read them. It has become one of our own traditions to see who gets a hold of them first. It is so much fun to watch people peruse my bookshelf. They scan the theology, history, philosophy, sci. fi., tons of art books/crafting and then I watch their jaws drop at the sheer number of newspaper comic strip books. I even collect them from other countries. It is a bit off beat for a Christmas tradition but we have fun with it. Deb
