The Beautiful and Damned - Paradise not found in reading this book!
It is a story that requires re-reading every decade or so. Life brings about a deeper understanding.
The Beautiful and Damned - I liked Gatsby better.
I love this book. Much closer to the life of Fitzgerald and so many who live for things they don't possess.

Yes, it was a sad ending. Lily was a victim of her time and of her life choices. Life is not fair, that was the tragic beauty of this story of Lily.
