Many Thoughts of Many Minds (Quotations) - Rather boring, ponderous, preachy

This book haz been a great disappointment. THe grounds on which quotations were selected are odd since so many available choices could have been so much more interesting, wittty, polished, or amusing. I felt most shared a certain stodgy worthiness that became predictable fairly soon. I could imagine few instances where one of the quotations would inject anything worthwhile - wit, fun, piquancy, or insight - to anythng I might want to express.
