• The Adventures of Tom Sawyer finished

  Entertaining, if unremarkable It feels needlessly judgmental to criticize the scattered plot and thin characters in what is regarded (at least by some) as a young adult novel. But the subject matter is also surprisingly dark, featuring some adult scenes and themes. So I am not sure who the audience is meant to be. It was diverting enough, but I would not recommend it to others. I posted this on 11 March 2013

Art of Money Getting - Sound, if obvious, advice

This is a very thin collection of basic principles for those in business to follow. It didn't contain anything that I wouldn't consider common sense, but I enjoyed the writing style.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - Entertaining, if unremarkable

It feels needlessly judgmental to criticize the scattered plot and thin characters in what is regarded (at least by some) as a young adult novel. But the subject matter is also surprisingly dark, featuring some adult scenes and themes. So I am not sure who the audience is meant to be. It was diverting enough, but I would not recommend it to others.
